Off to Aberdeen!

After the day I had yesterday, I made sure that I had a taxi booked to get me to the train station this morning. A short train ride to Edinburgh Waverley followed by the 2.5 hour ride to Aberdeen. 

From Aberdeen train station, it was a short walk over to the Ferry Terminal. 

Five years ago, I was on the ferry from Scrabster to Stromness in rough seas and it damn near killed me. So, I was prepared this time and had reserved a cabin. I also made sure I took gravol before we pulled out of the pier. 

The seas were quite calm but we were still weaving a bit on our feet. The scenery was lovely but the winds made it cool.
