Day Out in Edinburgh

After breakfast, we walked into Grassmarket and hiked the stairs on Castle Wynd. As we were approaching the castle, we came across this bus - with the same name as my papa Harry!

From the castle, we walked around the mound, down Playfair Steps and into Princes Street Gardens. We purchased our tour tickets and were on our way. Our first stop was at the Museum of Childhood. I had heard so much about this museum and we were eager to give it a try. It was ok as display cases go, but it was remarkably lacking in interactivity.

Our next stop was at Ocean Terminal to tour the Royal Yacht.

While we were at Ocean Terminal, we went into the mall and into Build-A-Bear where Heather made bears to take back for her friends.

 

After a long, full day, it was back to the hotel to have some dinner and to wait for daddy to skype us.
