Celebrating a Decade of Connections2021 marks 10 years since I started my business. As most of you know, I started Genealogy Tours of Scotland as a way to help the Scots diaspora connect to their ancestors in a very tangible way - by allowing opportunities for them to find their ancestors in their ancestral homeland.
And what a journey the past decade has been. Tears of joy, hearts full to bursting, a sense of peace that is bone deep. New friends made both here at home and across the sea.
I have been honoured and humbled to have been witness to these emotions, these connections. I continued to be amazed by the stories that have been pieced together about the Scots who left their beloved homeland behind for new opportunities.
