LeVar Burton, first recognized for his role as Kunta Kinte in the original mini-series Roots will be a Keynote Speaker at RootsTech 2017. As we know, Roots was the impetus for so many of us getting started in researching our own roots.
LeVar is also well known for his role as Geordie, the chief engineer on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
