Everyone registered for the April 10 Scottish ViC will receive 24 FREE credits for ScotlandsPeople!

The final ViC is just 2 weeks away. This ViC focuses on Scottish records and research. Topics include: 

Records Management - Archivist George MacKenzie will explain how records are created, what records are kept and which records are destroyed and why. 

Methodology for Scottish Genealogy  - Genealogist Tahitia McCabe of Strathclyde University will be our presenter 

Merchants and Craft Records - presented by Glasgow City Archives Senior Archivist, Irene O'Brien 

Enhance Your Scottish Research with DNA presented by Genetic Genealogist Michelle Leonard 

Private Estate Records - Tenants Cottars and Servants presented by archivist Margaret Fox, archivist at Traquair House in Peebles 

The Archaeological Dig at Ness of Brodgar in Orkney will be presented by archaeologist Nick Card
