About Me

My Photo
Christine
Ontario, Canada
Scottish born and Canadian raised, I am a genealogy educator with an expertise in the Scottish records. I enjoy sharing new resources so that others can find their ancestors on their own. I am also a lecturer, writer and blogger on Genealogy, Using Online Resources and of course, Scottish ancestry. I enjoy taking fellow Scots "home" to discover their ancestral heritage. Many people are interested in going to Scotland to do their family history research, but they don't know where to begin. To make this easier and more productive, I run Genealogy Tours of Scotland which offers 10 day trips to the Scottish Archives in Edinburgh. These tours not only provide people with documentation on their ancestors, but also helps them to fill in the social history and missing pieces of information on their Scottish ancestors by giving them access to records not available online. These trips also help people to discover their own Scottish Heritage in the process.
